Mali Kaniwzi ( Ukrainian Малі Канівці ; Russian Малые Каневцы Malyje Kanewzy ) is a village in the east of the Ukrainian Cherkassy Oblast with about 700 inhabitants (2001).
The village belongs administratively to the district council of the 6 km south located village Velyki Kaniwzi ( Великі Канівці ) in the west of the Chornobaj district .
The village is located at about 100 m altitude on the bank of the Irklij ( Ірклій ), a 39 km long left tributary of the Dnieper , 4 km south of the Chornobaj district center and 53 km northeast of the Cherkassy oblast center .
