Malik Muadh

Malik ʿAli Muʿadh al-Hausawi ( Arabic مالك علي معاذ الحوساوي, DMG Mālik ʿAlī Muʿāḏ al-Ḥausāwī , often after the English transcription Malek Ali Maath Al-Hawsawi , Maaz , Mouadh or Mouath ; * August 10, 1981 in Medina ) is a Saudi Arabian soccer player .

Al-Hausawi began his football career at his home club al-Ansar , where he played in the first Saudi Arabian league for two years from 2000. Then came relegation and two years of second class. After the rise in 2004, the top club Al-Ahli from Jeddah noticed the young striker and signed him.

After a year of getting used to it, his breakthrough as a regular player and successful goalscorer came in 2005/06. This also resulted in his appointment to the Saudi Arabian national soccer team . In preparation for the 2006 World Cup in Germany, he came five times and he was a supplementary player in the squad of Saudi Arabia .
