Malimba Masheke (* 1941 ) is a Zambian general and former Prime Minister.

In his military career Masheke rose to general and commander of the army.

In the government of his predecessor, Kebby Musokotwane , he was Minister of Defense from 1985 to 1988 and then Minister of the Interior from 1988 to 1989. On March 15, 1989, President Kenneth Kaunda appointed him Prime Minister successor to Musokotwane. He held this office until August 31, 1991.

After UNIP's election defeat in 1991, the post of Prime Minister has not been filled to this day. Masheke himself became one of the leading politicians and chairman of the now opposition UNIP.

In October 2005, President Levy Mwanawasa awarded him the order of "Grant Officer of the Order of the Eagle of Zambia".
