Kebby Sililo Kambulu Musokotwane ( May 5, 1946 - February 11, 1996 ) was a Zambian politician and former Prime Minister.

After studying at Livingstone Teachers College and the University of Zambia , he worked as a teacher and lecturer.

Musokotwane, a member of the United National Independence Party (UNIP), was one of the closest allies of former President Kenneth Kaunda . In its governments he was initially Minister for Water and Natural Resources from 1977 to 1978, Minister for Youth and Sport in 1979, Minister of Finance from 1979 to 1983 and Minister for Education and Culture from 1983 to 1985.

Kaunda finally appointed him on April 24, 1985 to succeed Nalumino Mundia as Prime Minister. On March 15, 1989, he gave this office to Malimba Masheke .

Instead he became Secretary General of UNIP and thus the second man after Chairman Kaunda. Between 1990 and 1991 he was High Commissioner in Canada .

When Kaunda resigned as chairman of UNIP in October 1992 after the election defeat in 1991, Musokotwane succeeded him with the support of Kaunda. In 1993 he was embroiled in a scandal when he allowed a radical wing of UNIP to attempt to overthrow President Frederick Chiluba 's government.

In May 2006 he was posthumously awarded the title "Grand Commander of the Companion Order of Freedom" by President Levy Mwanawasa .
