Malovice (German Mallowitz ) is a district of Bor ( Haid ) in the Czech Republic . It is located northeast of Bor in the Okres Tachov .

history

Mallowitz was first mentioned in 1115 when the village was donated to the Kladrau monastery . Further mentions can be found in Kladrauer documents from the years 1186 and 1239. In 1379, according to a tax register, the village belonged to a part of the Schwanberg branch line on Mutzgen, which later became the rule of Haid . The princes of Löwenstein-Wertheim- Rochefort had owned the Maierhof in Malkowitz since 1720, the territory for the associated 800 hectares of forest was in Mallowitz. In 1788 the village consisted of 14 properties. In 1838 Mallowitz had grown to 33 houses. The responsible parish office was in Hollezrieb (Holostřevy).

From 1850 Mallowitz was a district of Malkowitz , which, however, was significantly smaller than Mallowitz. The students first went to Hollezrieb until a school was built in the nearby Juratin. In the First World War, 15 men died. In 1927 a chapel was built. In the Second World War, 21 men lost their lives. In 1938, 159 people lived in the 32 houses in Mallowitz, including 156 Germans; 157 of the inhabitants were Catholics, the other two Protestants. On May 5, 1945, the places were handed over to the Americans without a fight. In autumn 1946 most of the German residents were expelled. In 1953 the farms in Malovice became collective farms. From 1961 Malovice belonged as a district to Kurojedy, since the beginning of 1980 it has been a district of Bor. In 1991 the place had 16 inhabitants. In 2001 the village consisted of 9 houses in which 15 people lived.
