Malte Krückels

Malte Joas Krückels (born December 8, 1968 in Berlin ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ) and since 2014 State Secretary for Media and authorized representative at the Federation of the Free State of Thuringia .

Krückels studied after graduating from high school in 1989 at the Elector-Salentin-Gymnasium in Andernach 1989-1996 English Linguistics, German as well as film and television studies at the Ruhr-University Bochum , graduating with a master's.

He then worked in university research and in the publishing sector. From 2007 to 2014 he worked as a speaker for the parliamentary group Die Linke in the Berlin House of Representatives , in the meantime as office manager of Mayor Harald Wolf . On December 5, 2014, he was appointed State Secretary for Media and Plenipotentiary of the Free State of Thuringia at the Federal Government in the Thuringian State Chancellery in the Ramelow I cabinet.
