Hikmet Renan Şekeroğlu
Hikmet Renan Şekeroğlu (born September 8, 1960 in Washington, DC ) is a Turkish diplomat . He has been the Turkish ambassador to Mali since 2014 .
Life
Sekeroglu in 1982 a degree in International Relations at Ankara University from. On March 21, 1983, he entered the foreign service. After working in various embassies and consulates - including as legation secretary in Baghdad , Stockholm , New Delhi and as vice consul at the consulate general in London - he became consul general in Odessa in 2005 . From 2007 to 2010 he was Consul General in Sydney . He has been the Turkish ambassador to Mali since April 15, 2014 .
Şekeroğlu is married and has two children.
