Mamele ( Yiddish מאַמעלע, in Polish Mateczka ) is a Yiddish-language comedy film from Poland from 1938 based on a play by Meir Schwarz .

It tells the story of Chawczy who, after her mother's death, has to raise her siblings on her own and gets into all sorts of entanglements.

The main role is Molly Picon, who also wrote the lyrics for the songs. It is the fourth and final Yiddish film by Joseph Green in Poland. It was shot at the same time as the third film A briwele der mamen .
