Mané-Ven-Guen

The dolmen of Mané-Ven-Guen are located in a forest south of Toulvern and Baden in the Morbihan department in Brittany in France .

In France, dolmen is the generic term for Neolithic megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).

The two simple dolmens ( French dolmen simple ) crossing each other in a Y-like manner are in poor condition. They are in the still clearly recognizable hill. The better preserved northern dolmen has a passage about 4.0 m long and 1.0 m wide. The almost round chamber has a diameter of about 2.5 m. There are still three ceiling tiles in the corridor and at the transition to the chamber.

The southern dolmen has few surviving bearing stones and only one ceiling slab. There are traces of dry stone masonry .

The complex dolmen Pointe de Toulvern lies 320 meters north .
