Management of Savagery
The English translation of the jihadist strategy of the leading strategist of the terrorist Al-Qaeda movement, Abu Bakr Naji , a suspected Egyptian and former chief thinker of Al-Qaeda, is referred to as the Management of Savagery or explanatory manual of jihadism . The full title of the English translation is The Management of Savagery: The Most Critical Stage Through Which the Islamic Nation Will Pass , in Arabic: إدارة التوحش: أخطر مرحلة ستمر بها الأمة, ("Idarat al-tawahusch", dt. "The administration of the Barbarism"). The terrorist organization Islamic State (IS) operates in its violent as well as its intelligence and psychological warfare according to the principles written down by Abu Bakr Naji. They have been online since 2004, and in English since 2006.
On April 20, 2015, Eugen Sorg characterizes the work in an article in the FAZ with the following words:

Images of attacks and executions are intended to deter the enemy and, in the words of the jihadist media theorist Abu Bakr an-Naji, destroy the “aura of omnipotence” of the USA and the West.
