The Mandalagan is a 1,885 m high complex volcano on the island of Negros in the Philippines .
The mountain is located in the province of Negros Occidental in the northern Negros volcanic area, where the Silay ( 1534 m ) and the Kanlaon ( 2465 m ) can also be found.
The Mandalagan covers an area of 16 × 14 km and seven volcanic centers, including five larger craters with a diameter of up to 2 km.
There is an area of geothermal springs within the complex that heats the water up to 106 degrees Celsius and expels geysers up to 30 meters high .
The time of the last outbreak is unknown and more detailed investigations are still pending.
The Mandalagan is one of the core zones of the Northern Negros Natural Park , which is home to numerous endemic animal species threatened with extinction, such as the Visayas pustular pig ( Sus cebifrons ) and the Prince Alfred deer ( Cervus alfredi ).
