Manfred Eibelshäuser

Manfred Eibelshäuser (born February 5, 1954 in Wachenbuchen ) is a German economist .

Career

Eibelshäuser completed his studies with a degree in business administration . From 1979 to 1983 he was a research assistant at the Fiduciary Seminar at the University of Frankfurt am Main . After completing his doctorate, he moved to the Federal Ministry of Economics as a speaker . From 1985 he was auditor and audit area manager in the Federal Audit Office and from 1993 a member of the Federal Audit Office. In 2001 the Hessian Landtag elected him President of the Hessian Court of Audit . He stayed in office until the summer of 2013.

At the same time, from 2004 he was state representative for economic efficiency in administration and honorary professor at the University of Frankfurt. Since 1996 he has been the managing editor of Heuer / Engels / Eibelshäuser, Commentary on Budget Law.
