Manfred Eiben

Manfred Eiben (born November 21, 1953 ) is a German former soccer goalkeeper .

From 1975 to 1979 he was under contract with TSV 1860 Munich in the first and second Bundesliga. The goalkeeper came to the then second division team from SpVgg Mühldorf in 1975 as the successor to Henri Françillon . Bernhard Hartmann was the clear number 1 in the “Lions”. In the 2nd Bundesliga South he came to two missions in the 1975/76 season. His only two Bundesliga appearances were in the 1977/78 season against Fortuna Düsseldorf and 1. FC Cologne . He also came in the 1975/76 and 1977/78 seasons to two appearances in the DFB Cup for the "lions". In 1979 he moved to the Bavarian amateur club TSV 1861 Straubing, trained by the ex-1860s Alfred Kohlhäufl , with which he rose in 1980 from the district to the state league. 1982 followed a commitment to TSV Ampfing and with the Bayern selection 3rd place in the amateur country cup .

Today he works as a caretaker at the Ruperti-Gymnasium in Mühldorf am Inn .
