Manfred Frank (politician)

Manfred Frank (born November 2, 1929 in Grimmelsberg ; † June 18, 2003 ) was a German politician ( SPD ). He was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament from 1975 to 1979 and from November 4, 1980 to 1987 .

Life and work

After completing secondary school, Frank worked as an innkeeper and merchant.

Political party

Frank joined the SPD in 1959. He was elected chairman of the SPD local association in Seedorf in 1960, was chairman of the SPD district association in Bad Segeberg from 1964 to 1978 and treasurer of the association since 1980.

MP

Frank had been a council member of the Seedorf community since 1959, was elected to the Segeberg district council in 1962 and was chairman of the SPD parliamentary group there from 1963 to 1970. He was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament from 1975 to 1979 and from November 4, 1980, when he replaced the resigned MP Karl Heinz Luckhardt , until 1987. In the state parliament he was a member of the committee for youth issues and a member of the agricultural and environmental protection committee.

Public offices

Frank has been mayor of Seedorf since 1962.
