Manfred Heinrich (legal scholar)

Manfred Heinrich (born March 28, 1958 in Munich ) is a German legal scholar and holder of the chair for criminal law , criminal procedure law and media criminal law at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel .

Life

Heinrich studied in Munich from 1977 to 1982, passed the first state examination there in 1982 and, after completing his legal clerkship in 1986, the second state examination. He then worked as a research assistant at Claus Roxin at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and received his doctorate there in 1992 (Faculty Award) on The Dangerous assault. In 2001 he completed his habilitation under Claus Roxin at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich with the thesis entitled Access to Legal Assets and Decision-Making . After hisHabilitation represented Heinrich chairs a. a. at the University of Trier , the University of Bielefeld and the Technical University of Dresden .

In 2008, the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel appointed him to the chair for criminal law and criminal procedure law, the denomination of which has meanwhile been expanded to include media criminal law. Since 2008 he has been director of the legal seminar there and since 2012 also director of the Institute for Criminal Science. From 2012 to 2018 he was dean of studies and BAföG commissioner for the law faculty, member of the information processing committee of the Senate of the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel and member of the administrative board of the Schleswig-Holstein student union . Since 2013 he has been a member of the extended board of the Schleswig-Holstein University Society. Since July 1, 2018 he has been Vice Dean of the Law Faculty of the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel.
