Manfred Henne

Manfred Henne (born June 11, 1944 in Obernheim ) is a former German middle -distance runner who specialized in the 800-meter distance .

In 1970 he won bronze in the mixed relay with the German team at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Vienna . In total, he started three times in the national jersey.

At the German championships, sixth place over 800 meters in 1968 was his best placing in an individual competition. In 1970 he won together with Günter Mayer , Hartmut Potschka and Walter Adams in the 4 x 800 meter relay. In 1969 and 1970, Henne and Adams won the German indoor championship title in the 3 x 1000 meter relay; In 1969 Wolfgang Mayer was the third man, in 1970 Günter Mayer.
