Manfred Müller (born January 21, 1961 in Atteln ) is a German graduate in administration , local politician in the Paderborn district and the current district administrator there .

Life

Manfred Müller was born on January 21, 1961 in the parish of Atteln , Büren district. In 1983 he married Petra Merla from Wewer , with whom he has a daughter. Petra Müller died in 2005. In August 2010 he married his partner Elke Rawisch de Terán.

Career

He graduated from high school in 1980 at the Reismann Gymnasium in Paderborn . From 1981 to 1984 he studied at the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration in Soest and graduated as the best in his year. He then became head of the finance division in the building department of the city of Paderborn . From 1995 to 1999 he was managing director of the Sander Lippesee -Gesellschaft Kommunale GmbH.

Political career

In 1989 Manfred Müller became a member of the City Council of Lichtenau (Westphalia) for the CDU and in 1992 honorary mayor of the city of Lichtenau. He was the youngest mayor in North Rhine-Westphalia . In 1999 he was elected Lichtenau's first full-time mayor with around 79% of the vote.

In the local election of September 26, 2004, he replaced the previous District Administrator Rudolf Wansleben in the Paderborn district on October 1, 2004. In 2009 he was re-elected as District Administrator of the Paderborn district with 70% of the vote. On May 25, 2014 District Administrator Müller was confirmed in office with 64.3%.
