Manfred Oechsle

Manfred Oechsle (born January 14, 1934 in Geislingen an der Steige ; † November 28, 2006 ) was a German administrative lawyer, district administrator and mayor .

Life

The son of a foreman attended the seminars in Maulbronn and Blaubeuren . He then studied law and political science at the University of Tübingen . In 1957 he passed the first state examination in law. He then completed a two-year training course at the administrative college in Speyer. After preparatory service and doctorate , the second state examination followed in 1962.

In 1962, Oechsle became a lawyer in Schwäbisch Hall , then business lawyer at SEL in Stuttgart. From 1964 he worked at the Waldshut district office and from 1966 to 1968 as a member of the government at the Ministry of the Interior in Stuttgart. In 1968 he became district administrator in Münsingen . When the Münsingen district was dissolved in the course of the district reform in 1972 , he took a position as head of department in the Ministry of Agriculture in Stuttgart. In 1973 he was elected Lord Mayor of Reutlingen . He held this position until he retired on December 31, 1994. He died on November 28, 2006 at the age of 72.
