Manfred Rogner

Manfred Rogner (born September 9, 1946 in Duisburg ) is a specialist author on reptiles and amphibians as well as a recognized lizard and turtle expert and active in nature and species protection.

Rogner is a retired teacher. He taught German and biology. He has been writing articles in magazines since 1970 and books since 1985. In 2002 Rogner retired and turned his hobby into a profession. His books have also appeared in America, Poland, France, the Czech Republic, Spain and China.

Rogner lives in Hürtgenwald- Vossenack and is an honorary judge at the administrative court in Aachen (8th chamber).
