Manfred Schluesselburg

Manfred Schluesselburg (* 1947 in Verden (Aller) , Lower Saxony ) is a former German Nations Cup rider , show jumper and current regional trainer jumping.

Schlüsselburg lives in Ilsfeld , is married and has 3 children (Isabel, Gabriela and Sven Schlüsselburg ).

Life

Schliisselburg vaulted in Verden (Aller) until he was 16 . Then he began to ride. In Helga Köhler's stable he prepared many horses for auctions, which he also presented himself. After completing his school education, he learned car body and vehicle construction, but then decided to take up riding. He was stationed as a sports soldier at the Bundeswehr Sports School in Warendorf , where he and Michael Rüping were among the first mounted soldiers. For many years he trained show jumpers for the Ribhege stable in Werne. During this time he also got to know the Schäfer family from Wolfschlugen , for whom he worked from 1975 to 1991. Afterwards Schlüsselburg made in Ebersbach an der Fils independently . A few years later he moved to Ilsfeld , where he runs a tournament stable. As the successor to Dietmar Näher , Schlüsselburg is the show jumping trainer of the Württemberg Equestrian Club.
