Manfred Thamm

Manfred Thamm (born January 12, 1932 in Beuthen OS ; † July 24, 2016 in Achern ) was a German lawyer.

He passed the Abitur in Aurich and studied law at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main . In 1959 he was at Adalbert Erler with the work The terminology of the word "empire" doctorate . He then joined the German Engineering Federation (VDMA) as a trainee lawyer and worked there from 1961 to 1991 as an employed lawyer. He then worked in the Gerhard Pilger law firm from 1992.

He became aware of the resistance movement against the construction of Runway 18 West and was a plaintiff's lawyer in the lawsuit against the State of Hesse.
