content

The series tells the story of mankind through significant episodes. The lavishly filmed scenes enriched with computer animations are mostly about wars , diseases as well as inventions and discoveries . They show developments that affect all continents equally. The focus in the first six episodes, however, is on the so-called Old World , then more on the so-called New World . Between the documentary scenes, the American television journalist Brian Williams and experts, including medical and military history, have their say.
