In 1964 , the Mannheimer SC won the Baden regional league championship and took part in qualifying for the group league (third division). By increasing the group league you moved up to this. In the first season in the group league you ended up in the secured midfield of the group south. In the 1965/66 season , a South / West group was founded in what is now called the Regional League. There they qualified for the intermediate round south / middle and as third just missed the qualification for the final round. In 1966, the league was increased for a short time. The Mannheimer SC therefore played in the run-up to the 1966/67 season two promotion games against the third of the intermediate round North / West EC Hannover , which they could win 10: 4 and 8: 6. There you played in the group north, which you completed as the fifth of seven teams. The subsequent relegation round with the Regionalliga Nord could be completed first. In 1967/68 , however, you could only win one game in the preliminary round. The relegation round ended in second place. The club then withdrew from playing in the higher leagues.
