action

Manni is a football-loving youngster who dreams of a career as a national player even in his early childhood. In order to achieve his goal , the boy , who initially only played street football , switched to the ambitious youth team of the blue-yellow club based in the Ruhr area . Before his first appearance in the German youth national team, the Libero went through various phases of a youthful sports career.

In the episodes of the series, all aspects of a professional footballer's career are presented: settling into the team and the club, the social areas as well as the everyday problems and moods of a young person (for example the relationship with parents and friendships). It will also show the role money plays in football and the resulting tension between amateur and professional football . Club life and the environment with its problems and victories are also examined.

The clubs shown in this series, such as Blau-Gelb or Arminia Berlin, are fictional and have nothing in common with the local clubs in the Ruhr area and Berlin.
