Bruno Dietrich (born April 3, 1939 in Düsseldorf ) is a German actor .

Life

After high school, Bruno Dietrich graduated from the Max Reinhardt School for Drama in Berlin . He made his debut in 1958 as Masham in Das Glas Wasser at the Piccolo Comedy in Wuppertal . Dietrich made guest appearances at the Stadttheater Bern , the Hamburger Kammerspiele and the Thalia Theater in Hamburg . He also went on numerous tours.

His roles have included Valère in The Miser , Mick in The Caretaker , Edmund in One Long Day's Journey into the Night and Tom in The Glass Menagerie . Since 1962 he has appeared on television and in films. For his portrayal of Manfred in Ulrich Schamonis Es , he received a gold film tape in 1966 as best young actor . Dietrich took part in several television series. In the 13-part series about the footballer Manni, the Libero he portrayed the coach Horst Fritsche, in the doctor series Praxis Bülowbogen he had a permanent role as Dr. Georg Maerker.
