Manoir de Réal
The Manoir de Réal in Boissy-l'Aillerie , a commune in the Val-d'Oise department in the French region of Île-de-France , was built in the second half of the 16th century. Since 1974 the manor house (French: manoir) on route d'Ableiges (RD 92) has been on the list of cultural monuments in France as Monument historique .
history
The Manoir de Réal is located in the hamlet of Réal , which was first mentioned in the 12th century. The place and the lands were owned by Pierre de Guillon, intendant of Henri I de Bourbon in the 16th century . Guillon had the 13th century manoir completely rebuilt. This construction, which was completed in 1587, remained in the possession of the Guillon family until the 18th century.
description
The manor house, located near the river Viosne , consists of a rectangular building with two or three floors. It is covered by a hipped roof. The four round towers at its corners are lower than the main building. The slate- covered towers on the eastern side were later connected to a closed veranda .
