Manstedten is a district of the city of Pulheim in the Rhein-Erft district in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Manstedten borders the village of Pulheim in the north-east and the village of Geyen in the south-east . To the northwest is Fliesteden .
history
Manstedten was first mentioned in a document in 1029. Since the Middle Ages, the place belonged to the office of Königsdorf in the Electorate of Cologne. In 1794 the place was occupied by French troops. Together with Sinthians , Manstedten formed his own commune in the Mairie Freimersdorf in the canton of Weiden in the Arrondissement de Cologne in the Département de la Roer . After 1815 Manstedten came to the municipality of Freimersdorf in the district of Cologne in the administrative district of Cologne . From 1951 Manstedten belonged to the municipality of Brauweiler . Since January 1st, 1975 it belongs to the city of Pulheim .
