Mantsonyane is a place in the Thaba-Tseka district in Lesotho .

geography

Mantsonyane is around 2200 meters above sea level. Nearby, the Mantšonyane flows south towards Senqunyane and finally into the Senqu . The next larger town to the west is Marakabei . To the east of Mantsonyane is the Mokhoabong Pass.

Infrastructure

Manstonyane has St. James Mission Hospital, founded in 1963, which is run by Anglicans and has 60 beds. The central west-east road connection of Lesotho, the A3 from Maseru to Thaba-Tseka and Mokhotlong , runs through Mantsonyane. Nearby is Mantsonyane Airport , ICAO code FXMN.
