Manuel Bewarder

Manuel Bewarder (born 1980 ) is a German journalist .

Life

Bewarder completed a teaching degree in Leipzig and Berlin , which he completed with the first state examination. He received a Masters degree on a Fulbright Scholarship in Washington, DC .

From 2009 to 2011 he completed training as a journalist at the Axel Springer Academy . From 2011 he worked at what was then Springer's holding, Berliner Morgenpost , whose compact format he developed. He has been with Die Welt und Welt am Sonntag since 2012 , initially as an internal policy editor , from 2017 as deputy head of department, and since 2019 as head of investigation and reporting.
