Manuel Hiemer (born February 3, 1985 in Augsburg ) is a German football player .
Career
Hiemer came to SpVgg Greuther Fürth from 1. FC Nürnberg in 2001 , where he was accepted into the amateur squad after appearing in the U19 Bundesliga in 2004 and signed a one-year contract for the Bayern League. In 2005 he moved to the upper division TSV Aindling , where he scored three goals in 30 missions. From 2006 to 2007 he played at FC Ingolstadt 04 , where he was only used once. From 2007 to 2009 he played at SSV Jahn Regensburg , where Hiemer scored a goal in 59 missions.
From 2009 he played for the third division club FC Erzgebirge Aue . With the Saxons he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2009/10 and was used 22 times, albeit mostly as a substitute. In the second highest division, however, he could not gain a foothold and came in the first half of the season only to a single substitution in stoppage time. As of January 31, 2011, the contract with Aue, which was valid until the end of the 2010/11 season, was terminated by mutual agreement. Then Manuel Hiemer moved to the Bavarian state division BC Aichach , with whom he was promoted to the Bavarian League. He has been under contract with SpVgg Bayreuth since 2012 .
