Manuel Lima
Manuel Lima (born May 3, 1978 in São Miguel , Azores ) is a Portuguese information designer .
Life
Manuel Lima studied industrial design at the Universidade Técnica de Lisboa (UTL) from 1996 to 2002 . He then did a Masters (MFA) from the Parsons School of Design in New York City . Since then he has been working as a freelancer in various information technology projects, for example at the advertising agency R / GA , and as a lecturer for information design at Parsons.
Lima published two noted books on information visualization by 2014 . He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts .
Lima worked for the Danish design studio Kontrapunkt for the mobile phone manufacturer Nokia , and Microsoft Bing. He currently works for Codecademy.
