Manuel Mirbach (born July 23, 1964 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
In 1987 Mirbach moved from the Berlin amateur club Traber FC Mariendorf to Bundesliga club FC Schalke 04 . At Schalke he was in the squad with Toni Schumacher , Olaf Thon and Carsten Marquardt . He made his debut on the second match day of the 1987/88 season : In the game against Hannover 96 he was substituted on in the 65th minute of the game, the game ended 0: 2. He then played five more games, none of which lasted 90 minutes. Schalke couldn't win any of them - two draws and four defeats were recorded. The Knappen occupied the last place in the table in the final table and were relegated. Mirbach then left the club.
