Manuel Pamić (born August 20, 1986 in Žminj ) is a Croatian football player . He has been playing for Chievo Verona since the 2013/14 season .

Career

Pamić began his career with his city club NK Žminj and moved to NK Istra in 1961 and two years later to HNK Rijeka . During this time he was regularly used in Croatian junior selection teams.

During the winter break of the 2007/08 season he moved to the Austrian Bundesliga club FC Red Bull Salzburg for 800,000 euros , where he signed a contract until summer 2011. His debut in Austria was Pamić on February 15, 2008 against SV Mattersburg , where he was allowed to start in the back four from the start. Pamić played through and Salzburg won 4-0. However, he only came to a total of six missions for the combat team and four for the second team, the juniors .

In early January 2009, Pamić moved to the Czech club Sparta Prague on loan for a year . In January 2010, Pamić signed a long-term contract with Sparta. Pamić's former club HNK Rijeka received 30 percent of the unspecified transfer fee to FC Red Bull Salzburg. With Sparta won the Czech championship in 2010 .

In July 2013, the Italian first division club Chievo Verona announced the commitment of Pamić.

National team

Pamić played a total of 21 internationals for Croatian junior national teams from 2005 to 2008. In 2008 he was nominated by national coach Slaven Bilić on call for the Euro 2008 , but there was no reappointment.

Since the resignation of Slaven Bilić in summer 2012 and the appointment of Igor Štimac , Pamić has been regularly nominated for the national team again.
