Žminj ( Italian Gimino ) is a village and municipality in Istria County , Croatia .

According to the 2011 census, the community has 3,483 inhabitants. Žminj lies in the center of Istria at 355 m. The area around Žminj thrives on growing grapes, olives, vegetables and fruits. Žminj has a train station on the Divača – Pula line .
