Medulin ( Italian Medolino , in ancient times Mutila ) is a village in Croatia .

The well-known seaside resort is located on the southern tip of Istria . The place has a beautifully indented, long coast and is surrounded by a chain of small islands. Today Medulin is a well-known tourist center. It also includes the village of Pješćana uvala , which means “sandy bay” in English, with the so-called “sandy beach”, actually more of a gravel and gravel beach . The villages of Pomer , Vinkuran , Premantura and Banjole belong to Medulin.

Medulin also includes the Vižula peninsula , which is known for its ancient archaeological site.
