Manuela Azevedo (singer)
Maria Manuela Machado Azevedo (born January 20, 1970 in Vila do Conde , Porto , Portugal ) is a Portuguese singer . She is the singer of the pop-rock band Clã .
Career
Azevedo studied law at the University of Coimbra , from which she graduated with a diploma. In addition, she received musical training on the piano.
In 1992 she founded the band Clã and has been the singer's front woman ever since. Between 2004 and 2006 she performed as part of the Humanos project . Further joint recordings were made with a number of Portuguese musicians.
