Manuela Obermeier

Manuela Obermeier (* 1970 in Munich ) is a German writer .

Life

Manuela Obermeier was already writing as a child, but after graduating from high school, she trained with the police in Bavaria. In 1990 she was one of the first women in the uniformed service. Today the police chief inspector works in the early detection department, among other things . As a writer, she was initially a member of the Police Poets before joining the Murderous Sisters . There she was discovered during a novel seminar by a literary agent who brokered her manuscript to Ullstein Verlag . In 2016 her first novel about Commissioner Toni Stieglitz was published there.

Manuela Obermeier is married and lives in Moorenweis in the Fürstenfeldbruck district . She is the spokesperson for the Bavarian regional group of Murderous Sisters .
