Manuela Reichart

Manuela Reichart (born in Düsseldorf in the 1950s ) is a German presenter and author.

Life

Manuela Reichart grew up in Berlin . After studying literature and first professional experience in the press, she worked for radio and television and moderated the ZDF cultural magazine aspekte for a short time . She presented the TV book show on WDR for eleven years, where she also worked for the film editorial team. She now presents Gutenbergs Welt on WDR 3, the matinee on SWR 2 and the program “Zeite” on rbb Kulturradio.

She is an author for WDR , Deutschlandradio , Hessischer Rundfunk and SWR .

Reichart writes literary reviews for print products and especially for radio: Deutschlandradio Kultur, WDR and rbb Kulturradio. She works as an editor and author of books. In 2008 she directed the documentary Thälmann takes your ball away from you .

With Botho Strauss she has a son, the author Simon Strauss .
