Manukau International

The Manukau International (also Counties Manukau International ) were open international championships of New Zealand in badminton , which were held in Auckland . Along with the New Zealand Open, they were one of the most important international badminton tournaments in New Zealand, a country with a badminton tradition that goes back to the beginning of the 20th century. In 2011 the tournament was part of the badminton world rankings of the Badminton World Federation , which meant that points for the world rankings and prize money could be earned at this tournament.
