Maor Sherf (born February 21, 1994 in Tel Aviv-Jaffa ) is an Israeli ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Rishon Devils in the Israeli ice hockey league since 2017 .
Career
Maor Sherf began his career as a hockey player with the Rishon Devils , with whom he became Israeli champions in 2014 and 2015 . In 2016 he went to Finland for a year, where he played for the Laser HT in the fourth class II-divisioona and the university club Oulun Yliopiston Urheiluseure in the fifth class III-divisioona. Since 2017 he has played again for the Rishon Devils.
International
In the junior division, Sherf played for Israel at the 2011 U18 World Cup in Division III.
With the Israeli men's national team , Sherf took part in the World Championships of Division II in 2016 , 2017 , 2018 and 2019 . He also represented his colors in the Olympic qualification for the Winter Games in Pyeongchang 2018 .
