Career
Marc Gallego comes from the youth of Karlsruher SC , where he joined the second team in 2004 from the U-19 department. There he played in the Regionalliga Süd until 2007 . This year he moved within the league to Sportfreunde Siegen , where he was a regular for a season.
In 2008 he switched to former league competitor FSV Frankfurt . On the 10th matchday of the 2008/09 season Gallego made his second division debut in a 2-2 draw against FC Augsburg , and during the season he only played one more game in the first team. Even in the first half of the 2009/10 season , Gallego was not part of the first set of the second division team, only in the second half of the season did he make further appearances. In a preparatory game for the 2010/11 season , Gallego tore an outer ligament at the end of July, so that he was missing at the start of the round. On the 5th matchday he was used by coach Hans-Jürgen Boysen for the first time in the 2nd Bundesliga, but was mostly only used in the U-23 team of the FSV in the Regionalliga Süd in the further course of the round. Also in the following season 2011/12 Gallego belonged mainly to the regional reserve of the FSV, for which he came on 26 missions and seven goals.
From September 17, 2012 he played for SV Waldhof Mannheim in the Regionalliga Südwest. There he was able to establish himself as a regular and scored four goals in ten games. For the second half of the league, Gallego moved through a clause within his contract to league competitor SV Elversberg , with whom he rose to the 3rd division.
In the third division, however, Gallego was less involved and only played in 10 games for Elversberg. He was often substituted on late. During the winter break, the club separated from Gallego and he moved back to the regional league to his previous club, Waldhof Mannheim . In the summer of 2014 he moved to FC 08 Homburg , with whom he was relegated to the league in 2017 after three years in the Regionalliga Südwest. In the 2017/18 season you managed to get promoted again as champions. Then Gallego moved to TSV Essingen in the Württemberg Association League .
