Marc Gronau (born January 23, 1974 in Berlin ) is a former German ice hockey goalkeeper who was active in the German ice hockey league for the Berlin Capitals .
Career
Marc Gronau began his professional career as a substitute goalkeeper with the Berlin Capitals in the DEL , where he stood between the posts for 17 games between 1994 and 1996. Then Gronau moved to England , where he went on the ice for Manchester Storm from the Ice Hockey Superleague , but ended the season at Deggendorfer EC in the German Hacker-Pschorr League .
From 1997 until the end of his career after the 2005/06 season he played exclusively in Neuwied , with whose team he won the championship of the second-class 1st division in 1998 and the Regionalliga Nord in 2001 . First he played three seasons at EHC Neuwied until its bankruptcy-related game operations in the 1st division or the Bundesliga and then for their successor club SC Mittelrhein-Neuwied one season in the regional league and five seasons in the third-class league .
