Marc Haller (born June 29, 1987 ), alias "Erwin from Switzerland" is a Swiss comedy magician. He grew up in Wettswil am Albis and now lives in Zurich .

biography

Marc Haller was born in Switzerland in 1987 with two non-magical triplet brothers. From 2003 to 2006 he attended the magic school in Zurich and at the age of 16 won the award of the Magic Ring of Switzerland. Further training took him to the Scuola Teatro Dimitri in Verscio, the Musisches Gymnasium Zürich and the Strassberg School in New York from 2007–2008 and to Vienna in 2009, where he graduated from the Conservatory with a major in acting . On the ORF TV show “ Die Grosse Comedy Chance 2012”, “Erwin Aus Der Schweiz”, alias Marc Haller, reached the finals with the “Jury Joker”. Thanks to the ORF live broadcast “The Great Comedy Chance - The Finale”, Marc Haller achieved a high level of awareness in Austria. By participating in the SRF-1 TV show “ The Greatest Swiss Talents 2015”, Marc Haller also established himself as a permanent figure in Switzerland. Marc Haller is the winner of the “Small Prix ​​Walo 2013”, the “Swiss Talent Award 2014”, the “Tuttlinger Crow 2017”, the “Comedy Award of the Schaffhauser Künstler & Sport Gala 2017” and the “Golden Fir Tree 2018”.

From 2012 to 2016 Marc Haller toured Germany, Austria and Switzerland with his debut solo program "Erwin aus der Schweiz", followed by the program "Reloaded" 2016-2017, "Erwin-Mania" and "Update 18" (both 2018). In 2013 and 2016 he toured Switzerland with “Das Zelt” in the productions “Dinner Spectacle & Comedy Club”. 2017 with the acrobatics show "Fireworks of gymnastics through Germany.
