Marc Lürbke (born January 31, 1977 in Arnsberg ) is a German politician of the Free Democratic Party ( FDP ). He has been a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia since 2012. Marc Lürbke has been the internal policy spokesman for the FDP parliamentary group in North Rhine-Westphalia since 2015. He has been deputy group chairman since October 10, 2017.

Life

Lürbke spent his childhood in Hövel (Sundern) and passed his Abitur in 1997 at the Franz-Stock-Gymnasium in Neheim-Hüsten . After completing his military service, he completed an apprenticeship as a banker at the United Sparkasse in the Märkisches Kreis . In the Landesbank Baden-Württemberg , he then worked as a trader. Since 2005 he has been studying cultural studies at the University of Paderborn with a bachelor's degree . In May 2012, he successfully completed a further course of studies in German and history with the first state examination for teaching at schools .

Political career

He has been a member of the FDP since 2005. In 2009 he became a member of the district council. On March 10, 2014, he was elected district chairman of the FDP Paderborn.

State politics

In the state elections in 2012 , he ran in the state electoral district of Paderborn II and won 4.4% of the first votes, but entered the state parliament via position 17 on the FDP state list. In 2017, Lürbke also moved into the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament at number 6 on the list. In the constituency of Paderborn II this time 8.3% of the first votes were cast for him.
