Club career

In the summer of 1997 he moved to the first division team Ankara Şekerspor and received a professional contract here. Here he played mostly for the reserve team and only made two league games for the professional team.

At the end of the season he left this club and moved to the second division Çaykur Rizespor . Here he made the leap into the regular formation straight away. In his second season at Rizespor, he and his team achieved indirect promotion to the Süper Lig . In the Süper Lig he worked for his club for a year and a half until he was loaned to Trabzonspor for the second half of the 2001/02 season with a subsequent purchase option .

After working half a season for Trabzonspor, this club decided not to pull the purchase option, and so Duymuş returned to Rizespor at the end of the season. The club failed to stay up, so Duymuş was active again in the TFF 1st Lig . At the end of the season you reached the runner-up and thus direct promotion to the Süper Lig . In the following seasons he was able to improve his performance, so that he rose to the national team in 2004.

In 2004/05 he trained at Rizespor under Rıza Çalımbay . This took over Beşiktaş Istanbul this season and one of his first acts was that Duymuş moved to Beşiktaş for the new season.

Just a month after signing this contract, his contract was terminated and he switched to league rivals Trabzonspor. Here he played half a season and moved to the new club of his old sponsor Çalımbays to Ankaraspor . At this club he played for a year and then moved to Kayseri Erciyesspor .

For the next season he moved with Çalımbay together to his former club Rizespor.

After working here for one and a half seasons, he moved to second division Kartalspor in February 2009 . He played here for a year and then moved to the Azerbaijani club FK Baku in the spring of 2010 .

In the summer of the same year he returned to Turkey and signed a two-year contract with the second division club Orduspor . In the first year he and his team achieved indirect promotion to the Süper Lig . At the end of the season, his contract was terminated by mutual agreement.

So he moved to the upcoming season for second division Akhisar Belediyespor . With this club they surprisingly reached the championship of the TFF 1st Lig and thus direct promotion to the Süper Lig . In October 2012 Duymuş was suspended from the club.
