Marc Levy [ maʀk leˈvi ] (born  October 16, 1961 in Boulogne-Billancourt , France ) is a French writer and film producer .

Life

Marc Levy was born in France on October 16, 1961. Levy lived in San Francisco from 1984 to 1991 , where he also founded his first company. He is the son of a publisher and a trained architect. As a freelance writer, he now lives in New York with his partner and son .

His first novel, with the German title Solange du da bist… , was made into a film by the American director Mark Waters as Solange du da ist and was released in German cinemas in December 2005.

Another novel with the German title When we are together was by the director Lorraine Levy with this title filmed and was released in Germany on 19 November in 2009.
