Marc McAusland (born August 13, 1988 in Paisley ) is a Scottish football player who plays for Keflavík ÍF .

Club career

Marc McAusland began his career in the youth of FC St. Mirren . For the club from his hometown, he made his professional debut in a league game against FC Gretna in the 2007/08 season when he was substituted on by team manager Gus MacPherson in the 79th minute for Will Haining . By the end of this and the following season , the defensive player was only six times as a substitute in the Scottish Premier League . In the summer of 2009 he moved to the Scottish second division club Queen of the South with which McAusland signed for two years. After his debut against the Raith Rovers on the 1st matchday of the First Division 2009/10 , he was used in 24 other games until the end of the season. After just one season at the club from Dumfries , McAusland returned to Paisley to the Saints . After returning, McAusland became a regular and won the Scottish League Cup in 2013 with teammates Craig Samson , David van Zanten , Jim Goodwin , Paul Dummett , Gary Teale , Paul McGowan , Steven Thompson and Esmaël Gonçalves .
