Marcel Jacques Amand Romain Boulenger (born September 9, 1873 in Paris , † May 21, 1932 in Chantilly ) was a French fencer and writer .
Life
Marcel Boulenger took part in the Olympic Games in foil fencing in London in 1900 . He reached the final round, in which he achieved four wins, so that he finished the competition behind Émile Coste and Henri Masson in third place.
Boulenger also made a name for himself as a novelist . Among other things, he wrote several autobiographies of fictional personalities and was also one of the first authors to deal with the subject of sports in literary terms. As a writer, he participated in the art competitions of the Olympic Games in 1912 in Stockholm part. His brother was the journalist Jacques Boulenger .
