Marcel Cerny (born June 1, 1998 in Baden ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

society

Cerny began his career at Baden AC . In 2010 he switched to the youth team at SK Rapid Wien , where he would later play in the academy. In September 2014 he moved to the Netherlands in the youth team of FC Twente Enschede . After a few months at Twente, however, he returned to the Rapid Academy in January 2015.

For the 2015/16 season he moved to FC Admira Wacker Mödling . In his first season with Admira, he played in the Academy of Lower Austria as well as for the third class amateurs. He made his debut for the amateurs in the Regionalliga in March 2016 when he was in the starting line-up against SKU Amstetten on the 18th matchday of that season and was replaced by Thomas Gösweiner in the 62nd minute . By the end of the season he played three games for Admira II in the regional league. In the 2016/17 season he was used in two games for the Admira amateurs.

After two years with Admira, he moved to First Vienna FC for the 2017/18 season . For the Viennese he played a total of four games in the Regionalliga Ost. After the club was forcibly transferred to the fifth highest division during the winter break of that season, Cerny moved to the sixth class amateurs of Floridsdorfer AC , with whom he was able to advance to the fifth highest division at the end of the season.

In March 2019 he made his debut in his squad debut for the professionals of the FAC in the second league when he takes on 20th day of the season 2018/19 against SC Austria Lustenau in the 31st minute for the injured Julian Krenn came on before he in the 81st minute himself was replaced by Maximilian Mayer .

For the 2019/20 season he moved to the fifth-class SC Ostbahn XI .

National team

Cerny played in March 2013 for the first time for an Austrian youth national team. In August 2014 he played against Bulgaria for the first time for the U-17 team , for which he played a total of four games.

In September 2016 he made his debut against Ireland for the U-19 selection . For this he came to three missions between September and October 2016.
