Marcel Kappelmaier (born April 14, 1991 in Ingolstadt ) is a former German professional soccer player . He played six third division games for SpVgg Unterhaching .

Career

In his youth, Kappelmaier played at TSV Baar-Ebenhausen , MTV Ingolstadt and TSV 1860 Munich . In the summer of 2010 he was transferred from the youth squad to the squad of the second team. The left-back played a total of 34 games in the Regionalliga Süd for the reserve of the "lions" . In summer 2012, he moved to SpVgg Unterhaching together with Daniel Hofstetter and Marius Willsch . In the first half of the 2012/13 season he was used for both the first and the second team, but was often injured. At the beginning of January 2013, the contract between Kappelmaier and SpVgg Unterhaching was terminated by mutual agreement, as Kappelmeier wanted to develop in a different direction professionally. At the end of January 2013 he joined the regional league club BSV Berg im Gau .
